Police in Hull are urging householders to be more careful about their home security following six reported sneak in burglaries in 48 hours.
One incident occurred at a terrace property on Outram Court, Hull at 1230hrs on Monday 19 October 2009.
During the incident two men entered the property through the open front door before stealing a purse from the lounge table.
The woman homeowner then entered the living room and found the men in the living room.
Disturbed by the woman, one of the men claimed he was looking for a flat to buy before leaving the house.
The first suspect is described as white, around 30 years old and 5ft 6ins tall with a medium build. He had short black coloured hair and was wearing a white coloured baseball cap and had a pedal cycle.
The second suspect is described as white, between 20 – 25 years old and 6ft tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black coloured coat and black coloured trousers. He was carrying a cup with him.
