Police in Hull are urging householders to be more careful about their home security following six reported sneak in burglaries in 48 hours.
One incident occurred at a terrace property on Outram Court, Hull at 1230hrs on Monday 19 October 2009.
During the incident two men entered the property through the open front door before stealing a purse from the lounge table.

Thieves are breaking into houses and stealing car keys before driving off in the owners' vehicle, police have warned.
The offenders are mainly targeting high value motor cars during the middle of the night.
Between 1 May and June 29, there were 25 of this type of offence reported to police.

People living in Marfleet Lane and Holderness Road with homes backing onto a tenfoot have endured arsons, burglaries and vandalism.
Police are now urging them to sign up for a gating system to secure the tenfoot and make it harder for criminals to operate.
Vanda and David Hatton, of Marfleet Lane, were the latest victims of yobbish behaviour.
